Narrowing the field.

Why am I the most creative, when dealing with situations and cases that are unformiliar to me?
A way of seeing this could be that when you design for a formiliar situation, you tend to think you know the problem, without really doing so. I think that by not knowing every way this has been solved in the past one might come to find a different solution by looking at the problem from a different perspective.
I believe creative solutions comes easier when not knowing what cant be done.
By current position, I want to look closer at the balance between knowledge and “positive incompetence” in a creative process.

starting.. now!

So, I had to start somewhere. With something. This is nothing really, but a start. According to “an incomplete manifesto for growth” by Bruse Man, that alone has to be something.
This blog will be closely linked to a studio-course about exploring creativity. I will mainly be writing about my own experiences and views on this subject, while trying to figure out what might (and what definitely won’t) work in a creative process.
My biggest concern regarding this is right now deciding what part of the creative field I want to concentrate on, and narrow my study down to.
